Dwells With You

Something to think about.

Dwells With You

And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you. John 14:16-17

Have you ever wondered if you speak another language? Your talking to someone and no matter how hard you try to express yourself regardless of the analogies and the variety of ways you try to explain yourself your audience is hearing something else. Not because your speaking in legal vernacular or medical terminology, or tech speak you’re speaking your native language, and they still can’t understand.  That is what it is like when your try to explain spiritual things to people who don’t have the spirit of God in them. They just lack the capacity to understand.

On the other hand, if you have the spirit of God in you, you can then commune with God and understand the spiritual matters He is imparting to you. The world does not know Christ because it has not received Him.  If you have accepted Him, He knows you, and you will know Him. This special relationship is available only to those who are called the children of God.

About Ruben

I am the owner of a custom furniture shop in Orlando, Florida. I had a heart attack back in 2010. As a result of complications from the heart attack I almost died . The road to recovery took about eighteen months and even now I still have issues to deal with. As a result of almost dying many things have changed. Most notably my concept of time. By that I mean that I am acutely aware of my mortality, not morbidly but realistically. Before the heart attack I thought I would make it to 70's, 80'S or as my mother into 90's but now I realize everyday is a gift. I don't take it for granted. That is why I write I have something to say and I want to say it, before I can't say it anymore.
