Shedding Of Blood

Something to think about.

Shedding Of Blood.

22 In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. Hebrews 9:22

Though we are no longer under the law, our salvation is dependent on the shedding of Christ’s blood. The crucifixion of Christ fulfills the requirements of the law. The law required the blood of a perfect innocent lamb for the forgiveness of sin. Christ became that perfect innocent lamb for us. Without Christ’s sacrifice, you are inextricably intertwined with sin. It is impossible for you to remove it from your life. Since you can not extricate yourself from sin. You are bound to it, and it is the master of your life, you are its slave. Freedom comes from forgiveness not from a statement of independence. The blood of Christ is the only thing that has the power to separate you from your sin. Only through the washing away of sin by the blood of Christ will you ever be forgiven. You can be free from your sin master when you have been cleansed by the blood of Christ.

About Ruben

I am the owner of a custom furniture shop in Orlando, Florida. I had a heart attack back in 2010. As a result of complications from the heart attack I almost died . The road to recovery took about eighteen months and even now I still have issues to deal with. As a result of almost dying many things have changed. Most notably my concept of time. By that I mean that I am acutely aware of my mortality, not morbidly but realistically. Before the heart attack I thought I would make it to 70's, 80'S or as my mother into 90's but now I realize everyday is a gift. I don't take it for granted. That is why I write I have something to say and I want to say it, before I can't say it anymore.
